Theme

To me in this book i don't really think there is one direct theme because this book is compiled of many different stories but if i had to choose one i would have to say it has more of a morbid theme. like the stories are not sugar coated with stuff thats impossible. these stories have reality and they speak pure truth of a persons past. an example of this is "Our Good Day" on page 14, how these kids talk to one another a say that "if you give me five dollars, i will be your friend.", this is something some one would say in a kind of lower social neighbor hood. Because people do that and its reality.
